After a day exploring, unwind with a soothing spa session or invigorating workout at the Choices Health Club, included complimentary for two guests. Take a cruise on Lake Windermere to Ambleside or across to Lakeside to enjoy a day at The Aquarium or hop on the steam train to Haverthwaite. Alternatively, try your hand at sailing and hire your own boat for a few hours. Paddle boarding is also a popular activity on the lake, so if you have one, then it’s certainly worth bringing it along.

A smell of mould and damp hot is as soon as we walked in, the garden is a scruffy back street with weeds. Electrics are terrible, damp on the walls has affected the socket .. fire doesn’t work. Wardrobes in the bathroom are black with mould. We left the next day instead of staying that night .. smelly bedding .. disgusting

Lovely flat with all necesary amenities including one parking space. Very clean flat on a quiet back street. Common areas and bathroom were a lot more spacious than expected, only downside was the bedroom was quite small with no storage space for clothing.

We entered the property and noticed there was no hot water and all the appliances were off as well as the boiler. After sending mesages to the host we only got automated responses so then we needed to call the emergency number which took a while to connect to a human. Meanwhile, my boyfriend managed to locate the fusebox and fix the isue ourselves. There was no toilet roll at the property which was disappointing. The cutlery, dishes, pans and cups were filthy and we needed to rewash everything before we could relax. We asked for a refund on the cleaning fee but we only received an automated mesage back. One of the mattreses were extremely uncomfortable so we needed to sleep on the sofa.
