Great location near to shops and restaurants, although its mising the front door number so not the easiest to locate. In the acces instructions a parking permit is listed as its needed to park in the vicinity of the house, however after we couldnt find it and speaking to the team, it has been lost and cannot be replaced until the end of the season, they did provide alternative be parking in streets a few minutes away. House was clean throughout apart from a few bread crumbs left on the chopping board. Very comfortable beds and everything you need for a few days away. A few niggles but all-in-all a decent stay and good value for money.

Great location, clean and tidy, parking limited but there was room for our 3 motorcycles out the front which was as promised. Would definitely stay there again.

Esthwaite was a lovely cottage, clean and well equipped. There were 2 problems though. If you locked the bathroom door you were trapped in and it had to be opened from the outside with a knife - getting locked in frightened my daughter. The other problem was the 6 inch diameter circular hole in the double mattress which rendered it impossible to sleep on that half of the mattress there were no springs there at all! We had to drag the single mattress from downstairs up so we could both get to sleep. The mattress was a significant problem, which spoilt an otherwise lovely house
