Melody in Windermere offers a prime location with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the lake view. While some areas require TLC and updates, the property provides a warm stay and convenient car parking.
The property is generally clean, especially bed linen, towels, and surfaces. However, some guests noted stained carpets and dusty glasses, suggesting room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its convenience, being situated above a shopping centre and close to eateries and the lake, making it an excellent base for exploring the Lake District.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the apartment warm. Noise from the street is mentioned, but it's not a significant issue for most. Some guests found the mattresses too soft.
The kitchen is well-equipped, but some appliances and fixtures are dated or in need of repair. Wi-Fi connection is poor, and some electrical sockets are non-functional.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.
