Perched at the top of Brantfell Road, the apartment is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy some peace and quiet, but near enough to sample all that Bowness has to offer only five minutes walk away. No 1 Brantfield House forms part of a larger property with four apartments. High ceilings and large windows in the lounge/dining room ensure plenty of natural light, all adding to the overall ambience of this quality apartment.

We have just returned from this delightful apartment. We were 3 adults 71. 62. 22.Really enjoyed our stay:Highlights:Clean, comfortable, warm [ winter], great view from the front bay. Comfortable beds and 2 bathrooms [ one with a bath] Parking [ at a premium in these parts.] Great base for Southern Lakes and lots to do.Minor criticismsHard to find in dark need better instructions.Would benefit from a smart TV not just an LED and some decent beer glasses. Decor ever so slightly dated but in keeping with a victorian villa. Kitchen basic but functional we catered for ourselves on 5 nights, had everything we needed.Yes it's up a steep hill from all the amenities 10 mins down 17 up, but that's how you get the view. If you're fit It won't be a problem if you're not you will be in the car and parking is awful in Bowness. We managed fine. It was also quiet but that would depend on who was in the neighbouring apartments of course. We just rebooked for next September.Recommended
