Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, ample parking, and quick responses to maintenance issues. While the steep hill and some dated decor are noted, most found the property clean and cosy. Minor issues such as limited supplies and occasional maintenance niggles were mentioned, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and many would return.

Most guests found the property clean and well-prepared, with improvements made in response to earlier feedback. Occasional issues with spiders and a musty smell were noted but generally resolved.

The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, offering beautiful views and proximity to Bowness and local amenities. The steep hill is mentioned as a challenge for some, but the views are considered worth it.

Guests found the cottage spacious, warm, and comfortable, with good beds and living areas. Some minor issues with damp in downstairs bedrooms and mattress quality were mentioned, but overall comfort was rated highly.

The property is well-equipped for self-catering, with two bathrooms, parking, and a functional kitchen. Some guests noted the lack of a washing machine, basic TV, and occasional maintenance issues, but these were generally addressed promptly.

Great accommodation. Good location, affordable, view of the lake. Walking distance from pubs, restaurants and Bowness waterfront.Facilities are great. Fridge, freezer, good cooker, two bathrooms. Two parking spaces are a real bonus for a place in the Lakes as well. We will definitely be back.Only thing to consider is the steep hill to the house and the fact that there's a lot of steps in the apartment. Location and setting are perfect for walkers but would be cautious for anyone with limited mobility.

Really nice property. View from the dining room of lake Windermere is special and worth the price of admission alone. Property is not without its flaws, WiFi is sub par at best and the downstairs bedrooms are pretty damp. In terms of location your mobility and desire to use a car will determine if this property is for you. The hill down to Bowness is quite steep and the walk back up could be challenging for most. In its defence it’s a relatively short walk and you have access to all the amazing shops bars and restaurants Bowness has to offer. Personally would recommend and would stay again but very much depends on your circumstances

We love this place but I still can’t understand why they removed the washing machine for a dishwasher. This is a hikers paradise but you have chose to provide convenience of a dishwasher rather than supportingthe need of a washing machine.
