Perched at the top of Brantfell Road, the apartment is far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy some peace and quiet, but near enough to sample all that Bowness has to offer only five minutes walk away. No 1 Brantfield House forms part of a larger property with four apartments. High ceilings and large windows in the lounge/dining room ensure plenty of natural light, all adding to the overall ambience of this quality apartment.

A nice place. Lots of space. Other reviews make a point about the dampness, but this is no worse than every other similar place I've stayed in the Lake District. It is up a steep hill, but again, only as expected of the Lake District!!Excellent value for money, and we will stay here again, thanks.

Although a little tricky to find initially, this property is in a great location, ideally situated to walk into Bowness. Yes it is on a very steep hill, anyone with mobility issues would struggle. parking for 2 cars - which was great.The apartment is clean and spacious and very well equipped. However, the main bin in the kitchen had not been emptied from the previous occupants. The bedrooms which are downstairs in the basement were good, however, very damp, cold and smell of damp. This wasn't too much of an issue, as it was 31 degrees outside and no air upstairs. The bedding, towels and our clothes all felt damp. This would be a problem in the colder months - but very welcome to us, this weekend!
