Attractive, comfortable and well eqipped cabin. Would recommend to anyone who has good mobility. Pretty area. Shame the local pub has closed, but the Queens Head in neighbouring Tirril is good.

Excellent cottage, easy accessible to Penrith and Pooley bridge by car or walk from the lodge , straight onto the a66 half hour drive to Keswick and lowther castle and gardens are a must ,

Amber Nook is a great house, in an estate of similar holiday lodges. Well furnished, well designed, well maintained. Very few amenities within walking distance, but you can take a dog for a short walk. Easy access by car to the Lake District or to Penrith.
