Overall very clean. Bedding and towels spotless. A little bit dusty in places but nothing bad. Probably could do with letting next booking know if a dog had been in accommodation. I have allergies and suffered really bad. Not sure if bedding had feathers in so would definitely ask next time. Everything else spot on. Plenty of crockery, glasses etc. We had a brilliant week.

As six older adults we felt another comfy seat was needed as only two sofas so two were sitting on dining chairs which were not comfortable. We had a few issues with cleanness but nothing that made the stay unpleasant just marks on the coffee table needed wiped and a stain on one sofa. Bathrooms spotless and lovely clean fresh bedding. It was perfect get away place near to lots of other places too. Lovely views from our lodge

We have been here several times and it's still a favourite of our family. The lodges are now in need of a bit attention, showing signs of wear.We did have to clean all the crockery and the tables, the dishwasher itself, patio furniture, the front door wasn't closed either when we arrived. When things were reported (the broken fence) staff were quick to arrange a fix.The lodges are very warm. We didn't need the log burner and I won't be paying the extra in future for the privilege. The radiators could not be adjusted in the bedrooms, the thermostat made little to no difference and unfortunately made the rooms rather uncomfortably warm. There is only hanging storage and that's not normally the sort of clothes people bring to the lakes, more shelves or drawers would be welcome. The setting is stunning, the staff are lovely. It's a great base to travel out from. I would definitely come again but hope the cleanliness, wear n tear and comfort are improved.
