Ben House boasts three beautifully presented bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to six guests. You'll find two king-size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom featuring bespoke luxury finishes and underfloor heating. The third bedroom offers a flexible super king-size zip link bed, which can be configured as twin beds upon request. A well-appointed family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom with WC add to the convenience.

The spacious living areas are designed for relaxation and enjoyment. The large lounge features comfortable leather sofas and a contemporary gas fire, perfect for cosy evenings. The south-facing dining room, with its charming bay window, provides an elegant setting for meals. A delightful sunroom offers an additional space to unwind and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The designer kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and a Krups Nespresso machine (guests are kindly asked to provide their own pods). A separate utility room houses a washing machine and drier, and you'll also find a handy drinks fridge and drying room.

Outside, Ben House offers a private and picturesque setting. The garden features a wildlife pond, and a furnished south-facing patio provides an ideal spot for al fresco dining and enjoying the Lakeland air. An additional sitting area in the garden offers further space to relax. For those who enjoy cycling, a garage is available for bike storage. Private parking is provided for up to three cars.

Situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park is the lovely village of Grasmere, probably best known as the home of William Wordsworth, a place he once described as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found". Any visit to Grasmere needs to include The Grasmere Gingerbread shop, where the Wilson family have been making gingerbread for over 60 years. Also in the village are a number of shops, pubs, a church which dates back to the 13th century and Grasmere Lake, plus Grasmere Sports takes place every August, where you can watch participants compete in a variety of sports, including Cumberland Wrestling. Just five miles away is the town of Ambleside and Lake Winderemere where you will find shops, pubs, restaurants and the 17th century Bridge House, which is one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District. Cruises, boat trips and watersports can all be enjoyed on Lake Windermere and the towns of Windermere and Keswick are also within driving distance. Grasmere is a wonderful base for your Lake District retreat.
