A lovely clean, comfortable cottage. We had booked the cottage for a long weekend and when we arrived it was lovely to see lamps had been switched on and the fire laid ready to be lit…………so welcoming on a November late afternoon, thank you. Highly recommend this cottage.

The cottage was comfortable but felt damp on entry. The oven was in need of a thorough clean and the empty fridge had a smell of which I could not trace the origin.The wood left for the fire was damp and would not light.The television downstairs had no signal but the one in the twin bedroom had.However we enjoyed our stay in the cottage and would return.

If your looking for a quiet location away from the crowds of the busier towns and villages then Sunnyside is perfect. Outside has a good amount of space with a nice front garden which gets plenty of sun. Plenty of space inside, well equipped kitchen. Never used them but there's a dishwasher and a dryer that would be useful with the bad weather. Some of the furniture looks a bit tatty and mismatched but it has got a cottage feel.
