This lodge is located in one of the most sought-after positions on the park and enjoys extensive views of the surrounding fells and Troutbeck village. Troutbeck Retreat Lodge has a spacious deck with delightful views and is a perfect setting to relax with a drink after a day of walking or sightseeing. Sleeping four people and an infant in a travel cot, this lodge is perfect for families or couples looking to get away for a relaxing break. This modern lodge offers a bright and airy open living area is perfect for guests to socialise and plan the activities for the next day. This lodge welcomes up to two dogs. Limefitt park is a lovely spot just four miles from Windermere village, five miles from the lake shore at Bowness, and ten miles from Ullswater. Nestling in the Troutbeck valley, Limefitt Park is a great base for your touring or walking holiday. In the local village, you can find two local traditional pubs which can be reached by a walk through the fields, and up onto the fells behind the Park is the High Street range. The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. The scenery through the patio windows, the decor and peaceful homely atmosphere throughout. It could perhaps do with a lick of paint and new dining chairs for the more particular guest but honestly we didn't mind and found it both modern and charming. Nothing has been over looked by the owners, everything you could possibly need is there for your convenience from dog bowl to champagne bucket! The views from the veranda on that comfy patio set really was a cherry on the cake just breathtaking. We had such a relaxing stay and can't wait to come back. We will definitely book this lodge whenever possible. Thank you.

We had lots of issues, the heating did not work and the bedding didnât really fit the main bed properly. Very tired decor, carpets needed a good clean and overall not the standard that was advertised.

Everything you could possibly need. Also great for dogs, our Cocker Spaniel Arthur had a ball.
