Poppy's Cottage is a beautifully furnished terraced cottage, peacefully sat in the heart of charming Grasmere in the Lake District National Park. Boasting wonderful accommodation with flexible sleeping arrangements and with much to do close by, this property is perfectly suited to both friends and family seeking a getaway in the idyllic Lakes. Upon entrance, be drawn in by the heart-warming living area; snug and open-plan, the sitting area is dominated by an alluring woodburner, so you can curl up with the group and watch your favourite films during the evenings. Next you will see the social dining area, adjacent to a sumptuous and well-equipped kitchen area, which tops off the ground floor in exquisite style.
Two tasteful king-size bedrooms rest on the first floor, one providing flexible zip/link beds to accommodate family's, couples and friends. The first of which features a fabulous sleigh bed and benefits from a lavish en-suite shower room. The second bedroom, also with a king-size bed. Next to this you will find the luxurious family bathroom which comes with an exquisite roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle. Relish in the soothing countryside air from the comfort of the back garden; a serene chipped courtyard is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee under the sun. Extremely comfy bed. Well stocked kitchen. On arrival, it was lovely to find tea, coffee and biscuits and ... milk and juice in fridge. Really enjoyed the cosy evenings sat in front of the warm woodburner listening and chatting over smooth music out of the BOSE speaker. Location is icing on the cake. Grasmere is great with good pubs and good food and if you want to go further, the bus is just outside the cottage to get you elsewhere. We didn't use the car all week which was so nourishing. Walks and bikes from the front door too. And fab views all around. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for putting in the effort to produce this place for people to rent and enjoy.

Lovely cottage very warm & comfortable A TV would be a nice addition in the bedroom so on dark cold evenings after walks you can curl up in bed and watch a film Other than that 10/010 be back soon

Grasmere is a stunning little village and we will definitely be visiting again . I the winter months maybe suggest an outside light .
