    This is a good property situated near the centre of Bowness and within a short walk of shops and lake. It has a roomy and generally well-equipped kitchen with lots of equipment, crockery, and even 2 fridges. The lounge is also roomy and comfortable. We thought the place to be very clean. Minor niggles, some of which are mentioned by other guests, include the very tight parking, noises from the room above, the lack of small cooking pans, and the underfloor heating in the downstairs bathroom which we couldn't find how to control. The lake is not visible from the interior of the property. Despite the minor shortcomings, I would recommend this property as a pleasant and good value stay.

    Generally good accommodation, if a lilltle tired in parts. Could do with extractor fan in bathroom, plus a few more items in kitchen. Pizza wheel, more mugs and bowls so not having to constantly keeping washing. Could do with providing a small welcome pack to include some milk, to enable having a hot drink onarrival. And upstairs flat needs sound proofing as we has a child constantly running back and forth on the wooden floor, so a large rug may quiten the noise. Saying this, was basically comfortable, large enough for the 3 adults in our group to spread out in the lounge, and kitchen. Bathroom and shower room good, but please note shower room downstairs is not very big if you need a bit more room to move about. Ideally located for town and lake. We had a good time and would recommend.

    The property has all the comforts you need, is very spacious and was very clean. It has 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the kitchen has more equipment than most other holiday properties. Parking can be difficult if you have a large and/or wider car. It was just about OK with our Peugeot 3008 and our daughter had a much smaller car. You would really struggle if you had 2 large cars. Also our neighbours luckily had 2 small cars.The property is on a side street of the main road and is very close to shops, restaurants and bus stop. The quay is just a 10 minute walk. We never noticed any road noise from the property.
