    Mrs Priscilla Kew, Thame, Oxfordshire
"Stag Cottage is a lovely stone cottage, in a quiet rural setting (horses in the field behind the house). The back overlooks the fells around Ullswater -- we watched the mists and clouds and rain come and go, and were blessed with a couple golden sunny evenings as well. Great location for exploring the Lake district, Hadrian's wall, and water-sports on Ullswater. Many thoughtful touches in the house, and having a drier was especially helpful as our week was more wet than dry. Wood stove also very welcome on cool evenings (even with heating a stone cottage can be chilly!)."
    Mr Pieter Jongejans, Utrecht,
"Very nice, authentic, spacious and well equipped cottage. The information provided inside the cottage (both practical and touristic) was very useful and extensive. "
    Mrs Jacqueline Cater, Jedburgh, Roxburghshire

Mr Ioannis Verdelis, Manchester, Greater Manchester
"An absolutely great place and ideally located for proximity to Ullswater, yet close to the motorway. Would recommend."
Mr Peter Westcott, Manchester, Greater Manchester
"A very well appointed cottage with stunning views towards Ullswater. This cottage is equipped with high quality appliances as well as lovely furniture and fixings. There is plenty to do with the Rheged centre just down the road towards Penrith and a wonderful farm shop 2 minutes down the A66 towards Keswick. The whole family enjoyed the property and the surrounding area."
    Ms Daniela Binder, Winterthur,
"It was our 4th stay at Stag Cottage, so obviously we like the Cottage very much! We look forward to coming back soon."
    Mr Kuldev Singh, Smethwick,
"The cottage was fab and met our expectations. It felt very homely, would certainly recommend."
