We had a lovely stay at this property. It was quite good vslue for the money we paid. The house itself is spacious and in a great central location, making it very convenient for getting around. It comfortably accommodated five adults easily, and the beds were very comfortable. The large garden is also a nice feature, offering plenty of outdoor space and parking for 2 cars. We did feel there were a few areas that could be improved. The garden, while generous in size, had some old broken fencing left on the grass, which took away from its overall appeal. Inside, the house would benefit from a thorough deep clean, and the settee in particular could do with upholstery cleaning.Additionally, the property feels a bit tired in places and would benefit from some general redecoration and a few more homely touches to make it feel more welcoming.Overall, it’s a good-sized property in a great location, but with some attention to cleanliness and maintenance, it could offer a much better experience.

This was our third year at The Birches (and apart from the small issue of the back garden fence being flattened so it was no longer enclosed) the equipment and supplies provided have been improved year on year and the cleanliness has also continued to improve with many longstanding stains on the carpet having vanished.Perfect property - large rooms, very cozy, comfy beds and furniture, private garden, private parking, great location, wonderful views.Special thanks to the gardener who came to mow the lawn but also fixed the garden fence so it was enclosed again to make it safe for our dog and younger guests.Hope we can make it 4 consecutive years.

Excellent house for larger group. There were 6 of us and it was perfect. Fantastic location in Keswick 5 minute walk into town centre. Only negative point is that back garden is not currently dog secure as fence is broken. We would definitely recommend and would go back again.
