The location is convenient on several other fronts, the local café is across the road, its situated only 200 yards from the A66 for easy access, 400 yards from the start of the Latrigg/Skiddaw walk and a 10 minutes stroll through the park to Keswick town centre. The cottage is suitable for couples and small families on a walking holiday, seeking comfortable accommodation at an affordable price.

A lovely well equipped cottage only a 10 minute walk into the town centre. Can highly recommend the food and ambience at the pub next door to the cottage , The Pheasant innCottage was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean and the smart TV was ideal for all the families festive viewing options Having a designated parking space at the property was fantastic and it fitted my Qashqai with ease unlike many other spaces at other properties I have stayed at. Great place to stay when I don't bring my dogs to the lakes - so would happily rebook on those occasions

My partner, our baby (2 months) our best friend and I went on a lovely short trip (4 days) to the Lake District. The cottage gave us the comfort we needed with a baby and it has an amazing dvd collection what helps when its too rainy and windy to go outside. The cottage is located next door to a lovely pub (the pheasant inn) with friendly and welcoming staff and great food and drinks! You can walk into Keswick within 5 minutes where you find lots of shops, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Off street parking was a bonus. Cottage was tidy and clean and we really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely stay there again! Great value for money !
