Laal Yan is Cumbrian dialect for ’little one’, which aptly describes this charming, cosy, character cottage. It is ideally situated in a small terrace of similar cottages, a short level stroll from the town centre. It has the benefit of parking provided near the cottage. There are fell views to the front and rear and the cottage is adjacent to the River Greta. The cottage is beautifully furnished in keeping with the character of the cottage, but with the benefit of a contemporary kitchen.

Need to fix light in main bedroom.Would have been good not to but washing up items !Good little cottage in a nice location with the benefit of off road parking.

Just what we needed. An ideal base for some walking, with the ability to cook for ourselves and to relax in comfort. One gripe: the ceiling light in the bedroom doesn't work, even with a new bulb. The visitors' book shows that this has been the case for some time as several guests have commented on it. This should be sorted out.
