Situated on the fringe of the town, this apartment is in a complex known as The Howrah’s Court. The pretty market town of Keswick, with its shops, restaurants, museums and boating trips on Derwentwater, and with views of the surrounding mountains and fells, really is the perfect place for those who enjoy the great outdoors. There are many walking and cycling trails within the Lake District National Park and numerous places of interest, including Beatrix Potter’s house, Hill Top, Dove Cottage, Go Ape at Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and beds were really comfy too. Would definitely return. Very handy for town centre but in a quiet location.

Overall good. Quiet area but close to amenities. Parking right outside. There could be more plates and cups as there is a dishwasher and ideally you would only use it when full. Towels and bedding good. Kingsize bed very comfy. Twin beds a little hard. There is also room in the lobby if you have a small mobility scooter. Would stay again.

When we arrived, the apartment was very cold, it would have been helpful to have switched the heating on to warm the place up, prior to our arrival, it took at least a day to feel comfortable. The freezer was very iced up, made it difficult to use. However the apartment was clean and we'll equipped, the beds were comfortable and cosy. And having an allocated car parking place was very welcome.
