This ground floor apartment, close to the centre of Keswick, has been beautifully presented and furnished to provide every comfort. Situated on the fringe of the town, this apartment is in a complex known as The Howrah’s Court. The pretty market town of Keswick, with its shops, restaurants, museums and boating trips on Derwentwater, and with views of the surrounding mountains and fells, really is the perfect place for those who enjoy the great outdoors. There are many walking and cycling trails within the Lake District National Park and numerous places of interest, including Beatrix Potter’s house, Hill Top, Dove Cottage, Go Ape at Grizedale Forest and the Lakeland Motor Museum. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.

When we arrived, the apartment was very cold, it would have been helpful to have switched the heating on to warm the place up, prior to our arrival, it took at least a day to feel comfortable. The freezer was very iced up, made it difficult to use. However the apartment was clean and we'll equipped, the beds were comfortable and cosy. And having an allocated car parking place was very welcome.

Very clean and spacious accommodation. The shower cubicle isn't the most spacious but it's ok. We reported some light bulbs out in the living room and those that could be sourced quickly were replaced that eveni.g. The tv has a limited nu.ber of channels but our only real problem was that the mattress is very firm, giving us oldies side sleepers some hip discomfort. Location is very good for access to all of Keswicks amenities. Would definitely recommend
