When we pulled up i was distraught at the grotty door that we entered to the first floor property .When we opened the door upto the first floor it smelled and was in need of a good clean and a paint . The property itself did not improve it was not cleaned very well there was many issues with the cleanliness and state of the property .Thankfully the cottage office was downstairs and we went straight down to complain .They came up and loooked at the issues and said they would get the cleaner to come back but this did not happen until the Monday and to be honest she still did not clean it thoroughly .The toilet seat was disgusting and so was the ensuite shower room it was mouldy and unclean .I had not booked a weeks holiday to go out and buy cleaning products and to clean the property .Our son ,partner and our 7 month old grandaughter were arriving midweek to spend a few days with us and i felt that it was not a property to bring her too . However Catherine in the office was very helpfull and tried her best to correct the issues . She knew how upset i was with the property . It is ideally situated in Keswick but it needs a good makeover . This is the first property that we have booked with you that we have not been satisfied with and we will not be returning and will think twice before booking with you again . We did receive a partial refund but it did spoil our holiday which was meant to be family time making special memories.

Apartment was lovely and clean but stairs leading up to apartment needed a clean and smell of damp was very strong,advert said car on site which is a bit miss leading as in carpark down the road but we coped.
