Guests say

Brow Riding is a well-equipped and comfortable bungalow in a peaceful location, just a short walk from Keswick. Guests consistently praise the stunning views from the kitchen, ample parking, and the property's cleanliness. The cottage is a popular choice for repeat visitors and is well-suited for families and dog owners. While most feedback is very positive, a few guests noted minor issues such as the need for a deeper clean in some areas, a hard bed, and clearer information about WiFi and appliances. Overall, it offers an excellent base for exploring the Lake District.

Most guests found the property very clean and well-maintained, with particular praise for the kitchen and utensils. However, a few mentioned cobwebs and suggested a deeper clean in some areas.

The location is highly praised for its quiet setting, beautiful views, and convenient walking distance to Keswick town centre. Parking for two cars is considered a significant advantage.

Guests describe the bungalow as comfortable and well-furnished, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. One guest mentioned a hard double bed, but this was the only notable comfort issue.

The property is well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and amenities for families and dogs. Some guests noted the lack of a fan and outdated or unclear information about appliances and WiFi.

Guests appreciated the attention to detail, such as provisions for dogs and children, and the immaculate kitchenware. While gifts are not mentioned and cannot be guaranteed, the overall thoughtfulness in amenities is noted.

Just returned from a lovely week at Brow Ridings. The bungalow is very well warm and everything has been thought of. The kitchen had every utensil, they have even provided for dogs and small children. The cooker, pots and pans were all immaculate which is unusual at most self catering properties. The parking for two cars is a bonus, however, please note the drive is shared with the bungalow next door, we arrived in the dark stormy weather so didn’t notice the small silver studs dividing the drive and the neighbour isn’t the most pleasant of blokes we have ever met!!! You definitely will not be disappointed with this lovely bungalow and we will definitely be booking it again

No problems with the accommodation itself or the directions, etc. But our stay was spoiled to some extent by the lack of information, especially relating to the WiFi. I rang the agency and was told that we had to read the password from the router. No information was given about the location of the router. The router was hard to locate; we eventually spotted it on top of a high cupboard, but there was no information on which of the three available networks the router was connected to. We had to lift the router down while keeping it connected (two-person job) and manage somehow to read the tiny print for the password. We then tried the password on each of the networks. Finally got online. The owner should have provided all of the information on a sheet of paper in the guest folders at least. The guest folders were also lacking up to date information on local emergency contacts, recycling etc. The information about some of the appliances in the folder seemed to be out of date. The router brochure in the folder was not the same as the router we found.

The cottage is set in a beautiful location. The views especially from the kitchen are amazing. There is parking for two cars on the drive which is a bonus in keswick. The cottage is well equipped the only thing it lacked was a fan but other than that there was nothing lacking. We have stayed in the cottage five times and would throughly recommended it.
