Guests say

Beny Cot in Keswick is a well-regarded cottage praised for its central location, comfortable furnishings, and ample parking. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and additional features like good WiFi and a PlayStation 2. While some guests mention noise from nearby bin collections and minor cleanliness issues, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking to return.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, though a few noted a decline in cleanliness on repeat visits, with specific mentions of dust and a dirty pizza cutter. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a common trend.

The location is highly praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The private parking is a significant plus. Some guests noted noise from bin collections, but this did not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as comfortable, cosy, and well-suited for groups of various sizes. The beds are comfortable, and the living spaces are well-received. The 'Narnia-style' bedroom is a unique touch that adds to the comfort and charm.

The cottage is well-equipped with a good kitchen, utility room, and entertainment options like a PlayStation 2. However, some guests reported minor maintenance issues such as a non-functioning dishwasher soap dispenser and the need for updates to appliances.

While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, the reviews reflect an appreciation for the cottage's amenities and the responsive service provided by the management. As gifts are not referenced, it is not possible to score this category.

Just enjoyed a 4 night stay. The house was well set up for 4 of us and very cosy with the wood burners. I would recommend it and come back back again. A car parking space was an added bonus.

Great location, stayed at this cottage before but after 2nd stay, noticed appliances need to be updated and cleanliness was poor, found mouldy floor boards under bed in main bedroom, cobwebs everywhere and would suggest a good thorough clean, as this had an effect on my respiratory conditions.
