The cottage was ideally located and was warm and tidy. However the fridge did not work, we were left a scorched tea towel to use for our visit and half a toilet roll. The property is looking a little tired and could do with a little spruce up

We have been going to barleycorn for years now and when we went in June I said the cleanliness had went down hill, well sadly we returned again in September and the cleanliness was not at all any different infact the dust and muck was worse. This time I took photos. It is such a shame the cottage and garden is lovely and it is in a beautiful location but the cleanliness let's it down. We have been going twice a year and sadly we won't be booking for next year :(
