Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, though a few mentioned dust behind radiators, on light fittings, and some dog hairs. Overall, cleanliness was satisfactory but could be improved in less obvious areas.
The location is highly praised, being central yet quiet, with easy access to Keswick's shops, restaurants, and walking routes. Guests consistently highlighted the convenience and appeal of the setting.
Guests found the cottage cosy and comfortable, enjoying the warm atmosphere and period furnishings. Some noted issues with a chilly environment, uncomfortable sofa, and steep stairs, but overall comfort was good.

Good shower poorly equipped kitchen lighting in hose dark especially in bathroom stairs to upper level dangerous living room bay window is dangerous as bottom sash opens right up so small child could fall out or a dog entering house had a smell to it

A lovely quirky flat right in the centre in Keswick. On the surface, nice and clean but after dropping something down the back of a radiator, and retrieving the item covered in dust, I discovered that it wasn't that clean! Nice and warm once we figured out to light the gar fire in the living room. It would have been nice to have been given some basic supplies e.g. scissors, salt and pepper, cooking oil, toilet rolls and batteries for the TV remote control. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return.
