Beautiful location, very easy access to Keswick and a few good routes around. Burnside park has a lot of good lodges and we have stayed many times however this lodge was out dated in our opinion. There was not enough hot water for a bath, the dishwasher doesn’t clean the dishes and the washer dryer doesn’t dry the clothes and makes the whole lodge shake. When we arrived there was a little smell in the lodge but nothing that the air freshener that was left couldn’t fix. The water pressure of the shower was a bit disappointing but still did the job. The lodge would be great in the summer but the insulation is not good for the winter.

Very cosy Lodge which is in a lovely quiet location (loved listening to the owls at night!) but also only a short walk from Keswick town centre. It had everything we needed for the two of us plus our German Shepherd Lady and we will be back again.

Excellent location and so easy to walk into Keswick. Local pub and café both within a 10 minute walk. Lodge is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful. Disappointing that the lodge was so tired and a bit shabby.
