Second time at this address. Loved it the first time, just as good the second. Nice and quiet even though quite central. Beds and bedding lovely and comfortable. Towels all fresh. Wouldn't downgrade it for anything. Hopefully it will be free for our next cockermouth visit.

Lovely cottage in excellent location. Cockermouth is a beautiful small town, easily walkable from the cottage with some excellent restaurants and cafe's, Wordsworth's house (National Trust) and a hardware museum (free at back of a fantastic traditional hardware shop). It is not touristy. Short drives to Maryport (Roman museum and historic port) and Whitehaven (Museum and historic port) and some large deserted beaches.
