Sharrow View is a well-equipped and cosy cottage offering breathtaking views over Ullswater Lake and the surrounding hills. Guests consistently praise its idyllic location, spaciousness, and helpful owners. The property is warm and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and convenient parking. While some mention minor issues such as occasional noise from above, difficulty locating the property, and limited local amenities within walking distance, the overall experience is highly positive and the cottage is highly recommended for a relaxing stay in the Lake District.
Guests describe the property as neat, tidy, and well-maintained, with no significant complaints about cleanliness. The positive feedback suggests a high standard is consistently upheld.
The location is frequently highlighted for its stunning lake views and proximity to scenic walks and attractions. Some guests note the lack of shops and restaurants within walking distance, but overall the setting is considered a major asset.
Most guests found the cottage warm, cosy, and comfortable, with good beds and living spaces. However, there are isolated mentions of a broken bed and the property being cold on arrival, which slightly lowers the score.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and for having modern conveniences like a smart TV. Minor issues such as internet connectivity and lack of recycling bins are mentioned, but do not detract significantly from the overall positive impression.
There are no references to welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

The best view in the lakes from our window! Neat, well appointed cottage apartment on one floor, some problems with late night noise from above, but apart from that, very enjoyable, with lovely sloping grounds and a walk on nearby Ullswater way, just up the hill

Lovely views of Ullswater Lake, close to places to visit. Had everything that we needed, comfortable bed, shower was adequate. Some great walks along the Ullswater Way within easy reach of accommodating. Lovely place for a meal just down the road, Brackenrigg Inn, well worth a visit. You can use the buses with stops close by. The only thing I wish that was provided would be as well as bath towel there was a hand towel for each person. It is just a shame that there was no recycling bins.
