First time to Lake District, cottage well placed for lakes and coast(st Bees, nice little beach) restaurants and supermarkets all within 5 minutes walk. Out of preference and being picky, think every accommodation should have an air fryer and I would swap the washing machine for a dishwasher!!! That’s just me. Overall very good

Great cottage, though the spiral stairs are a bit of a challenge, quite steep and narrow - difficult to carry anything up or down as I felt the need to hold with both hands at first, though I did get more use to them after a couple of days. Beds and sofas very comfortable and a good level of cleanliness - one or two spots missed, but no essentials. Only niggle would be the are not enough coat hangers in the wardrobe and the bottom of the wardrobe is used to store loads of towels so you can't hang a full length dress or coat. Over all great though!
