Church Cottage is situated in one of the most scenic and tranquil areas of the Lake District, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an abundance of wildlife. The occasional red squirrel and deer can be spotted, and this is a wonderful area for bird watching and wild flowers. The cottage has spectacular views in all directions, with stunning sunsets over the Solway Estuary and the Scottish hills. The open plan living space offers beams and a large picture window with fantastic views to the fells and open fields. There are many walking opportunities along flower filled country lanes and local bridleways, perhaps a visit to Bisney or Dash falls.
The nearest towns are Keswick and Cockermouth, both within 10 miles. The lovely Cumbrian villages of Caldbeck, Ireby and Uldale are a short drive away, all have good pubs serving food.
This delightful cottage has been beautifully furnished and equipped to offer very comfortable and attractive accommodation. Outside there is a play area with a slide, swings and climbing frame. There is also a fully equipped games room, with an adjoining laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Barbecues are available as well as ample car parking, with a garage which is lockable in which bikes can be stored. A welcome tea tray and complimentary bottle of wine are available to all guests on arrival.

If your looking for somewhere quiet and remote with views to die for then this is your place. Such a stunning cottage that has everything you need. We even had a Christmas Tree! Very spacious, cosy and comfortable. Every detail taken care of. The games room was a big hit. We had sheep and chickens in the field right outside which gave it farm Vibes. We all had such an enjoyable, relaxing stay 10/10.
