Step outside to explore walks on Blake Fell (3 miles) or Grassmoor (7.5 miles), making sure to stop off at Crummock Water (6.5 miles) for a waterside picnic or dog walk. A bustling hub in rural Cumbria is the nearby town of Cockermouth (8 miles), a handy spot for local amenities that also offers tourist attractions including the birthplace of William Wordsworth. And of course, the coastline lies only 8 miles away with Whitehaven s beautiful Marina and historic Rum Story museum lie waiting to be explored. Head back into the dining room to find a curved staircase tucked behind a farmhouse style wooden door. The first floor features two cheerful bedrooms. The first of which is a master double with pretty views from the bedroom window, whilst the second bedroom is a triple room with bunkbed and additional single bed, the ideal sleepover spot for younger guests! Finally, a bright and generous bathroom with WC and shower over bathroom provides you with all you need throughout your stay. Exit the house via the front door, cross over the quiet country lane and find a private garden that s completely enclosed. Perfect for letting children or pets run around, this grassy space features a garden bench for relaxing with a morning coffee or something stronger in the evening. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double, 1 triple with bunk beds and single. 1 bathroom Shower over the bath and WC. Electric oven, hob, fridge, microwave and table top freezer .
