Please note: This property has a security deposit of £500.. A delightful, charming, detached farmhouse, on a working arable farm in rural Essex, close to Braintree. Pattiswick Hall is perfect for family celebrations or for friends to get together, situated in an ideal location, with excellent facilities and sweeping countryside views.
The generous living room is ideal to retreat to after supper, boasting views over the garden. The heart of the home, the farmhouse style kitchen, complete with an Aga, and open plan with a sitting area, great for chatting while cooking. Off the kitchen/sitting room is a games room, ideal for little ones to play in, but can still be kept an eye on. Head up to the first floor where you will find six double bedrooms, all with views across the rolling countryside, and three with en-suite facilities. On the second floor you will find two further bedrooms, a family bathroom and a small kitchenette.
This fabulous Grade II listed property, set in an unspoilt hamlet in Essex and is a real haven. There is even the added benefit of an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court (tennis balls not provded) - what more could you ask for? Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
The property is located on a working farm.
Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

Here is my honest review from someone who travels regularly. Me and my family (of 15) stayed here for 3 nights, celebrating mine and my partners 30th.On arrival, we was pleasantly surprised as although the pictures were great and was what led us to book, they didn’t quite show the size of the property (in a good way).There was lots to do. We did bring a lot of our own stuff (football goal etc.) the property did provide some standard footballs, small goals, tennis rackets and balls, pool floats which I assume were left by previous visitors (which is also what we did).There was enough space for everyone to have their own space if needed. But it brought us all closers even in such a big house. The property had everything we needed to do what we wanted. There was so many takeaway options available, on uber eats, deliveroo etc. or you can take a 10 minute drive to the shops etc. The property itself was clean enough considering the size, but my only feedback was there were a few plates that was a little dirty and some cups that had lipstick stains on. This was easily fixable with a quick wash (or using the 2 dishwashers that were available).Overall, it was a really good experience and we are already considering booking again for next year.

We stayed in Pattiswick Hall to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and don't regret choosing it at all.The accommodation was clean, massive and very comfortable. We got full use out of the tennis court and swimming pool and had an amazing time. We had a lunch in the Noble Goose in Coggeshall which was also amazing. We will be booking again!
