Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with several guests finding the cottage spotless and well-maintained, while others reported issues with dust, dirt, and a need for a deeper clean. The variance in experiences suggests that cleanliness levels may fluctuate, but overall, more guests had positive experiences than negative.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful countryside views, and proximity to local attractions and walks. The secure garden and the sound of owls at night add to the charm. Parking is mentioned as a minor issue by some, but it does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.

Comfort receives positive remarks for the cosy and warm atmosphere of the cottage. However, some guests found the furniture, particularly the sofa bed, to be uncomfortable, and the steep stairs and low ceilings were noted as potential issues for some visitors. The bed's comfort received mixed reviews.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden for pets. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as heating problems, electrical issues, and the need for clearer instructions for appliances. These concerns have impacted the overall satisfaction with the facilities provided.

Guests have appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as treats for both humans and dogs, and the provision of puzzles. These gestures contributed to the overall positive experience. However, it is important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be consistently provided with every stay.

Bumble Bee Cottage was very comfortable loved the under floor heating as it was chilly first and last thing.

Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, and were very entertained by the new lambs gambolling outside the window.
