About this property

Crick 3.1 miles. Nestled in Northamptonshire’s lush, rolling countryside in Winwick near Crick is the fabulous The Stables. Enjoying a tranquil, rural location surrounded by a myriad of walks woven throughout the picturesque countryside as well as a beautifully-renovated interior boasting contemporary appliances and stylish decor that blends seamlessly with character features such as exposed beams that pay homage to the property’s former role on the farm; The Stables offers wonderful accommodation for couples, friends or families looking to explore all the Northamptonshire has to offer. Utilise the off-road parking before stepping through into the dwelling, find a fully-equipped kitchen where you and the family can come together to whip up tasty meals. Enjoy these at the dining table in the living/dining room and be sure to raise a toast to your retreat; if the sun is shining, why not step outside to enjoy the meal alfresco on the picnic bench. On colder evenings, sink into the plush sofas in the sitting and flick on the Smart TV for a movie night, the perfect end to a day full of exploration. When the evening draws to close, head up to the first floor to wash off the day’s adventures in the beautiful bathroom before retiring to one of two king-size bedrooms both offering Smart TVs. Enjoy a countryside retreat at The Stables. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1124374, together sleeping up to eight guests.

Crick is a small village located six miles east of Rugby in the gently rolling countryside of Northamptonshire, not far from the county borders with Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Cracks Hill, one of several popular hikes in and around Crick, may have been named after the Celtic word for hill. The large marina on the Grand Union Canal, which runs through the outskirts of the village, plays host to the annual Crick Boat Show and Waterways Festival every May. The canal marina has space for 270 narrowboats. There is a grocery store, a post office, a tea room, three bars, a garden centre, and a restaurant by the canal called The Moorings. Six miles away, in the historic market town of Rugby, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops.
