Each lodge offers luxurious accommodation for up to 4 guests, making them the perfect choice for couples or small families. Set all on the ground floor, they are also ideal for the less mobile.
Nearby Gainsborough offers plenty of shops to peruse and pubs to enjoy a family meal at, while the charming market town of Brigg is also within easy reach. Enjoy a stroll around the Cathedral and castle walls in Lincoln, just 14 miles away, followed by lunch in one of the many bistros and cafés in the popular Bailgate area. Market Rasen races and the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Natural Beauty are about 20-minutes’ drive away, while nearby Hemswell offers plenty of opportunity to shop for antiques and collectables. Spend the day at the showgrounds of Lincoln and Newark, or at one of the many events regularly held in the area. We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Hillcrest Lodge 1. The lodge is very clean and comfortable and in a quiet location.. The hot tub is amazing too. We will be returning next year.

Accommodation advertised as luxury, however I would not say that it was of luxury standard. There was only one bath towel per person and one hand towel between 2 people! Luckily we took our own bath sheets. I would have expected more towels or a bath robe considering there was a hot tub. I was not a fan of the artificial flowers that were left on the beds, dust collectors. Felt a bit like a funeral parlour!The lodge it self was in front of an old static caravan and at the side was a work shop, not the rural setting we expected and the lodge to the side was too close for it to feel private when in the hot tub. There was a road to the side and traffic could be heard inside the lodge. The bacon, sausage and eggs were a nice touch, luckily we are not vegetarians. However, would have preferred fresh milk, bread, tea and coffee. A coffee machine even, as is supposed to be luxury. There were comments in the visitor book of how lovely the owner was, but we never met him, only a quick hello when he visited the lodge next door.

Excellent peace and quiet location with the added bonus of the great Hot Tub. Also the great Breakfast items given by Brian our Host . The Lodge is very well equipped and nothing was too much trouble for Brian he was onsite but he made sure everything was kept clean and well running . He gave us a lot of local knowledge, but you had to drive a few miles for food shopping etc . Would love to stay again sometime in the future .
