Beautiful spacious cottage with a lovely hot tub and view. The owner is very accommodating and it is an excellent location just outside Snowdonia National Park, so it is easy to access everything and great local walks. The only grumble I would have but it isn't just specific to this cottage is when a home is advertised as pet friendly and dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture. I completely understand why but very difficult I would image 99% of people that own dogs allow them in bedrooms and on sofas at home so when they go away they find if difficult to (teach an old dog new tricks). I think as long as the cottage is treated respectfully and lightly cleaned before departing it might be reconsidered? Overall a lovely place though and this isn't the first place that doesn't allow it but it is usually put in the description if dogs are not allowed on furniture etc. Thank you for a lovely stay

Peaceful and beautiful stay - great for walks and relaxing! Property was well kept and in beautiful surroundings. The area is beautiful, with lots of places to visit within a reasonable driving distance. There was a book of information about local restaurants, takeaways and places to visit, which was really useful. Hot tub was great and check in was very easy. The hosts left nice little touches like tea, coffee and Welsh cakes, and the board games and cards in the lounge were a nice touch. We had a lovely stay as a family of 4, and there was lots of room. The property is dog friendly but requests that dogs do not go into the bedrooms. I understand not wanting dogs on beds/other furniture, but would have appreciated knowing the dog was not allowed in the bedrooms at all before booking. Beds were comfortable, but the pillows were not great - quite flat and uncomfortable. The floor is also coming up in one of the bedrooms and ensuites.
