Guests say

Reflections is a peaceful riverside cottage in Spalding, praised for its tranquil setting, relaxing atmosphere, and well-presented accommodation. Guests frequently mention the beautiful surroundings, cleanliness, and friendly, helpful owners. The property is ideal for those seeking a quiet retreat, with thoughtful touches and a welcoming feel. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted minor maintenance issues and one reported an unpleasant interaction with an owner. The location is best suited for relaxation rather than activities for children, and amenities such as local pubs may be limited.

Most guests found the cottage spotlessly clean and well maintained, with only one mention of black mould around the freezer door.

The riverside setting is widely appreciated for its beauty and tranquillity, though some noted the distance to local amenities and attractions.

Guests describe the accommodation as comfortable and relaxing, ideal for unwinding, with only minor comments about missing a washing machine.

Facilities are generally well received, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Some guests mentioned unreliable internet, lack of a washing machine, and limited fishing.

Several guests appreciated welcome gifts and festive touches, though these are not guaranteed. Owners are described as friendly and helpful, with one exception.

This was a last minute booking for the three of us, and we could not of been happier with the accommodation, and location. The hospitality from the owners is second to none. Everything you could think of was available in the accommodation and the little welcoming treats were greatly received. We would definitely be looking to return next year to enjoy the peace and tranquility that Reflections has to offer.

We had a fab time but we drove to the beach every day apart from 1. It was a 2 hour round trip. There certainly isn’t enough to do for children but if you want a beautiful spot on the river, read and chill then this place is perfect.

Reflections is a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Very peaceful and full of nature. Everything that you needed was inside the place, only thing missing was a washing machine, one of our children is very messy so we had to make sure we had more clothing than normal. The owners are just next door and very friendly. If you needed anything they were more than happy to help with anything. If you would like a relaxing couple of days or week, no noise, I highly recommend Reflections.
