Step further back in time in the city of Lincoln (14 miles), where historic highlights include a Gothic cathedral and a stunning castle with a Victorian prison and a copy of the Magna Carta. Edwardian Woodhall Spa (5.5 miles) is famous for its quirky Kinema in the Woods and Jubilee Park, where a heated lido delivers a unique swimming experience. Further afield, Horncastle (12 miles) is home to antique shops and an array of inns and eateries, while nearby Wolds Wildlife Park promises exotic animal encounters.
