This luxury property is ideally located in the heart of the city of Lincoln where you can step out onto the cobbled streets and begin exploring straight from the door. You can enjoy a thriving city centre with many shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and tearooms; at Brayford Wharf you can dine whilst watching the boats float by or walk up the well-known Steep Hill into The Bailgate and castle area. Lincoln Cathedral and Castle are worth a day out exploring, and the castle hosts many events throughout the year with the famous Lincoln Christmas Market, Steampunk Festival as well as the annual cycling Grand Prix. If you’re looking to travel a little further, why not visit The Bomber Command, which is only 2 miles away!
For a day out, Newark Showground is a short drive away with its regular international Antique Fairs, and Market Rasen Racecourse and the Lincolnshire Wolds are approximately 30 minutes’ away. There is a dire shortage of information on using equipment e.g. the induction hob, the dishwasher etc. In fact apart from the Wi-Fi details the only information supplied was a little leaflet for the television which leaflet we did not need as it was straightforward.We completed the guest book with some recommendations as to eateries and places and things to do.

The house was very well positioned next to the main high street, down hill and the famed steep hill up to the cathedral quarter, uphill. Opposite a Cat Cafe which I recommend. The furnishings were cosy with plenty of cushions and throws (Some cushions feather stuffed incase of allergies). Beds were comfortable, medium/firm mattress. Wet room took a bit of getting used to. Hand and bath towels provided. The only disappointment was the information/welcome folder lacked instructions for the electric hob and oven, meaning contacting the owner and then googling the makes when given info incorrect to models. Microwave standard.
