Front garden with sitting out area. 20-acre grounds with sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Indoor swimming pool with shower and changing facilities (shared with other properties on-site, 4m x 10m, depth 1m - 2m, open all year). Fishing on-site (free of charge, licence required). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are unfenced fishing lakes in the grounds, 55 yards away.. Roach is ideal for those looking to enjoy the excellent fishing in the 2 lakes with a lovely indoor swimming pool to relax in too. Set in the grounds of the owners’ working arable farm sit these wonderful properties, as well as Roach (UK42139), there is also a pair of semi-detached holiday cottages (refs UKC1907 and UKC1909) and two semi-detached adjoining lodges (refs UKC2202 and UKC2203) which have an inter-connecting locked door, which can be opened to interlink the lodges if required.

The grounds benefit from two large, well-stocked fishing lakes. The properties provide comfortable accommodation and share an indoor heated swimming pool and 20 acres of grounds (please bring own towels to use at the pool).

The city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, castle, Christmas markets and Magna Carta Visitor Centre, is just 5 miles away, with the showground at Newark, approximately a 15-minute drive, well known for its international antique fairs. There are also good walks and cycle routes in the area. Burton Waters inland marina is close by, with a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 2 miles. These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 26 guests.

    We had a great time, Natasha and Peter great hosts. Accommodation had everything we needed and it was lovely and clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is a great addition very relaxing and great that you can book it out. Perfect location to Lincoln and visiting surrounding places.

    A rare find in a lovely area. Very relaxing and comfortable property mainly due to the helpful host, The property is on a gated farm set back from the road. There is a farm shop with cafe and restaurant nearby and Saxilby 3 miles away has all facilities of a large country village.
