Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are unfenced fishing lakes in the grounds, 55 yards away.. Roach is ideal for those looking to enjoy the excellent fishing in the 2 lakes with a lovely indoor swimming pool to relax in too. Set in the grounds of the owners’ working arable farm sit these wonderful properties, as well as Roach (UK42139), there is also a pair of semi-detached holiday cottages (refs UKC1907 and UKC1909) and two semi-detached adjoining lodges (refs UKC2202 and UKC2203) which have an inter-connecting locked door, which can be opened to interlink the lodges if required.
The grounds benefit from two large, well-stocked fishing lakes. The properties provide comfortable accommodation and share an indoor heated swimming pool and 20 acres of grounds (please bring own towels to use at the pool).
The city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral, castle, Christmas markets and Magna Carta Visitor Centre, is just 5 miles away, with the showground at Newark, approximately a 15-minute drive, well known for its international antique fairs. There are also good walks and cycle routes in the area. Burton Waters inland marina is close by, with a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 2 miles. Beautiful location, the site has lovely lakes and plenty of outdoor space. Very close to Lincoln with all its attractions. Doddington Hall and gardens a must to visit. The swimming pool on site was an unexpected bonus, great to have it privately at a chosen time slot. Peter and Natasha keep the grounds immaculate.
