The bed was very comfortable. I was travelling by public transport and the cottage is in a very good position for public transport, for busses to and from the bus station ( the train station being opposite the bus station) There were shops nearby and it was a short walk to local attractions ( castle, cathedral, museum of everyday life and Steep hill ) etc. I also enjoyed a walk down to the canal via a steep passage, a park, west common and the golf course as well as to Burton by Lincoln and down Fen Lane. A very enjoyable week. I didn’t take my dog ( left him with a friend ), but he would have enjoyed it too.
