Guests say
Welton House receives glowing praise for its spaciousness, excellent facilities, and suitability for large families and groups. Guests particularly enjoyed the games room, hot tub, and secure garden, with many noting the property is exceptionally well-equipped and immaculately clean. The welcome packs and festive decorations were much appreciated, though not guaranteed. While the rural location offers peace and privacy, a car is essential as amenities and walking paths are limited. Minor issues such as occasional flies, WiFi, and heating were mentioned but did not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences.
Multiple reviews highlight the property as spotless, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. Only rare mentions of flies and a dishwasher issue were noted, but these were minor compared to the consistent praise for cleanliness.
The rural setting is appreciated for its tranquillity and privacy, but guests note the lack of nearby walking paths and the need to drive for shops, pubs, and attractions. The location is convenient for exploring local sites by car.
Guests consistently describe the house as spacious, comfortable, and ideal for large groups, with plenty of communal areas and comfortable beds. The secure garden and ample seating are also highlighted.
Facilities such as the games room, hot tub, sauna, and well-equipped kitchen receive high praise. Minor maintenance issues (heating, dishwasher, flies) are mentioned but are rare and quickly addressed by the owner.
Guests frequently mention generous welcome packs, festive decorations, and extra touches that made their stay special. Please note that gifts and decorations are not guaranteed for every stay.

Welton House is a beautiful and spacious holiday home which was ideal for our 3 generational get together. The house itself had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday and in addition there was an amazing welcome pack. Immaculately clean, we immediately felt at home. A big plus was the hot tub and games room which was enjoyed by all ages. Great communication from Martin the owner. The house is in easy reach if the coast .Would 100%recommend.

Welton house is one of the best houses we have stayed at. Very modern with everything you need. We had a couple of small issues when we arrived but they were sorted very efficiently. The welcome treats were enjoyed by everyone. We would definitely recommend this house and we will be back : )

We stayed at Welton House for our annual family weekend away. There were 9 of us and 3 dogs, the house was very accommodating for large parties and the communal spaces allowed us all to be able to spend time together. The house had lots of extra touches which were amazing, the owners have thought of everything you would need to make the trip like home away from home. The house was very clean and smelled lovely, decorated beautifully and everything seemed in really good condition. The location is really private and the outdoor space was perfect for us and the dogs. At times the wifi wasn’t great and could be improved, but didn’t have a negative impact on our weekend. We would definitely return to Welton House in the future and had a great stay! It’s really hard to find accommodation to host larger families with pets but this place really was perfect!
