Lovingly converted and set on a farm, furniture updated July 2021 this former granary offers spacious, detached accommodation for two people, just 4 miles from the coast and its sandy beaches which offer miles of unspoilt walks. Whether its a base from which to explore the east coast and the Lincolnshire Wolds, also nearby, or simply somewhere to sit and relax in front of the wood burner with a good book, The Old Granary is ideal. There are good walks and cycle routes from the door, with the coast approximately a 10-minute drive away. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 9 miles away, with plenty of entertainment for everyone including the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. During the winter months, visit the seal pups at Donna Nook. The market town of Alford is a 10-minute drive, whilst the Georgian market town of Louth, which still has 3 markets a week, is about half an hour by car and is always worth a visit with its many shops, local butchers and very good selection of cafés and pubs. The beach is within 4 miles, shops, pubs and restaurant within 2 miles.

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at The Old Granary and had a fantastic time! The cottage is amazing and has everything you could possibly need. The underfloor heating kept us nice and cosy, and we especially loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings, looking up at the stars.The location is great, with the beach and surrounding towns all within easy reach. Louise made us feel really welcome, which made our stay even more enjoyable.We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend The Old Granary. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

We can't recommend this place enough! It was beautiful and very clean, the host was attentive and nothing was to much trouble for her (she was a gem) . If you want somewhere you can relax and just recharge this is the place to be . We will 100% be returning.

The Old Granary did not disappoint. I had booked it for a relaxing weekend to celebrate my hubby turning 60. We had a lovely weekend with our 2 dogs. They even got welcome treats which they enjoyed. The location is ideal for trips to the coast. Then you can come back and chill in the hot tub or just relax in the small but enclosed garden. We even had a takeaway delivered on Saturday for dinner.Thanks Sarah and Richard :)
