We have just returned from a 4 night stay with our spaniel at The Old Granary and what an incredible few days we’ve had. We have never had such kind and accommodating hosts. Louise and Rich could not do enough for us and always made sure we had everything we needed, and Louise made many recommendations which were fantastic during our stay. The cottage is clean and very well equipped. We weren’t short of anything during our stay (instead of toilet roll, which was on the doorstep within 30 minutes) but we know if we needed anything more, Louise would be on hand to help. This property is the comfiest and cosiest we have stayed in and the hot tub is a lovely touch which we used twice a day. We loved our welcome goodies and our spaniel Mabel was spoilt rotten too with her own treats, doggy blanket and bowl. We loved the nearby beaches but also being surrounded by countryside, it really is the best of both worlds here and so incredibly peaceful. The nearby town Alford has a great pub, The George Inn that we visited each day and we enjoyed a Chinese takeaway from Panda House too which was solely from Louise’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. The bed in the cottage is sooooo comfy and the smart TV has all you need for a stay here. The garden is enclosed which we needed for our dog. We loved the effort Louise has gone to to make the cottage festive with the lovely Christmas decorations. Overall, we have had the BEST time and will most certainly be returning thanks to Louise’s amazing hosting and everything else in between! Thank you so much. This place cannot be faulted in our opinion 😍 Olivia, Vincent and Mabel **

Really lovely stay at the old granary. What a wonderful place, has everything you need. Underflior heating was lovely, especially in December, and we made full use of the log burner. Beaches just a short drive away. Hot tub was lovely and warm on arrival and Louise was a fantastic host and was always on hand if we needed her. One tip...dont forget flip flops or shoes to get to the hot tub as very stoney and we forgot! Lovely place to unwind and chill, our dog loved his holiday break too. Thank you for having us.

The cottage is amazing Hot tub and log burner a definite plus ! Bed a bit too hard for me but otherwise everything was good. Lots of beach walks nearby and some lovely places to eat All in all, a lovely 4 night break and the dogs had an amazing time running freely on the beaches and swimming in the sea
