Beautifully styled and south-facing, our bespoke Dragonfly Lodge offers a luxurious lakeside escape with a fresh, modern, contemporary feel. The ground floor features a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, where you can relax and take in the beautiful lakeside views. The fully equipped kitchen includes a wine cooler, dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, and a bespoke welcome pack for that extra special touch. Elegant bathroom with a slipper bath, double vanity sinks, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, the master king-size bedroom is both spacious and serene, complete with a large skylight positioned over the bed, perfect for a night of stargazing. Outside, a private deck with high-quality seating and a bubbling hot tub creates the perfect spot to relax and reconnect. Ideal for romantic getaways, celebrating special occasions, or exploring the beauty of the surrounding area.. Set within 11 acres of grounds of Wyberton House, the properties take their name from the site’s original use, a Woad Farm, with worker’s cottages and a Mill. These larch-clad lodges are furnished with comfort and quality in mind. All the lodges offer a superb base for touring or a relaxing break in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Locally there are seaside beaches, rspb marshland reserves such as Frampton Marsh and Freiston Shore, the Lincolnshire Wolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning cathedral city of Lincoln, market towns, and historic Boston. A pub bistro can be found ½ mile away.
We allow fishing but only with sweetcorn, worms or maggots no boilies, pellets, ground baits or feeds of any kind, we have Grass Carp, Tench, Roach and Koi up to about 8-10 lbs. We operate a catch-and-release policy with no barbed hooks and guests are only allowed to fish at the side of their cabin or from the deck so that they don’t intrude on other guest’s privacy. The place itself is wonderful. When we turned up it was warm and clean and tidy from the outlook. Had a lovely welcome hampare which was a lovely touch. However, once we started to use the facilities like pots and pans and cups, we began to notice the were dirty. The pots and pans weren't (or might have been at some point) non stick. We then went to have a coffee from the machine, only to find that there was a old coffee pod in there already. Then couldn't find the cleaning disc to clean the machine. So, in the end we didn't use the machine. The bedroom was lovely but when it came to going to bed, we both found the pillows were rather lumpy, possibly from being washed in the machine. The duvet was very warm and made sleeping hard work. Even with the air-conditioning unit on it. The mattress was comfortable however. We both had rotten night's sleep. It was such a shame as it was a lovely place to be but was let down by easily fixed issues. So, its with a deep regret to say we won't want to return on that note.

Me and my husband have just got home from an amazing holiday. We have stayed in many lodges around the country and this has been our favourite by far. The lodge was just stunning and in perfect surroundings. Our dog Bear also had the best time as the grounds are stunning.The hot tub was perfect and relaxing just taking in the surroundings. We will definitely be back but we will book a longer stay.Holiday overall was perfect.Thanks Clare and Craig
