Combining contemporary style with comfort, our distinctive Honeybee Lakeside Lodge is South/South-West facing and designed to offer a luxurious lakeside escape. The ground floor features a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area, where you can unwind and enjoy the beautiful lakeside views. The fully equipped kitchen includes a wine cooler, dishwasher, coffee machine, air fryer, and a bespoke welcome pack for that extra special touch. The elegant bathroom includes a slipper bath, double vanity sinks, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, the master king-size bedroom is both spacious and serene, with a large skylight perfectly positioned above the bed, ideal for a magical night of stargazing. Outside, a private deck with high-quality seating and a bubbling hot tub offers the perfect space to relax and recharge. Ideal for romantic getaways, celebrating special occasions, or exploring the stunning surrounding area.. Set within 11 acres of grounds of Wyberton House, the properties take their name from the site’s original use, a Woad Farm, with worker’s cottages and a Mill. These larch-clad lodges are furnished with comfort and quality in mind. All the lodges offer a superb base for touring or a relaxing break in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Locally there are seaside beaches, rspb marshland reserves such as Frampton Marsh and Freiston Shore, the Lincolnshire Wolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning cathedral city of Lincoln, market towns, and historic Boston. A pub bistro can be found ½ mile away.
We allow fishing but only with sweetcorn, worms or maggots no boilies, pellets, ground baits or feeds of any kind, we have Grass Carp, Tench, Roach and Koi up to about 8-10 lbs. We operate a catch-and-release policy with no barbed hooks and guests are only allowed to fish at the side of their cabin or from the deck so that they don’t intrude on other guest’s privacy. We stayed at the honeybee lodge for a week break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner is chatty and helped us with choosing our lodge from when we enquired about booking, and explained the cables that go around the decking and spoke to him concerned if the dogs could get through to the water somehow. The owner Jon, eased our worries and we had no problems at all with our two cocker spaniels. On arrival there were labelled parking spaces and a wheeled buggy to help unload your car and get it to your lodge which was a small walk down the gravel driveway. When we entered the lodge was spotless, homely and a lovely welcome basket was available which was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The hot tub was lovely, the bedrooms air con is now sorely missed being back at home. The location of the lodges were beautifully set up over a pond with two sociable swans on the lakes island. The lodge was modern and came with everything you’d need, an iron, ironing board, a dishwasher and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely and I found it really relaxing watching the stars in the evening and overlooking the quiet lake we had no issues with neighbouring lodges everyone was enjoying the peace and quiet. Being able to come back from a long dog walk in the day time and being able to shower the dogs off quickly in the standing shower was easy and helped keep things clean while they dried off in their bed we jumped in the hot tub. Half way through the week staff came to wash the windows and when we requested more towels, loo rolls and dishwasher tablets and the lodge staff supplied these with no trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will continue to visit and cannot wait for next time. Highly recommend.

Most definitely recommend!!! Absolutely beautiful place for a little getaway, nice and peaceful, spotles as I entered and looks exactly as the photos show, didn't have any isues with finding the place as instructions were perfect, easy flexible check in as well. I would definitely recommend staying here for a peaceful break and I would most definitely be coming back!! Amazing host and amazing place!!

Honeybee Lodge was stunning and grounds and lake were just beautiful and the daily visits from the black swans were beautiful. Enjoyed my evenings in the hot tub watching the sun go down. Woad mill lodges are just beautiful I have already recommended it to friends we will definitely be going back.
