The Pig Barn at Nether Burrows Farm, lovingly converted in 2016, was once home to pigs and their keepers, who slept on the top floor of the barn. Set on the edge of the farm, The Pig Barn offers the perfect spot to unwind, whether you’re soaking in the hot tub or enjoying al-fresco dining while taking in the stunning views after a day of exploration. Nether Burrows Farm is located at the end of a peaceful one-mile rural track and spans four acres, complete with a large natural pond, perfect for relaxing or meditation. The farm is also home to four other holiday cottages, these can be booked together to create the perfect space for a group getaway.

While Nether Burrows offers plenty of entertainment on-site, it is ideally located for exploring the Peak District. Derby is just 4 miles away, and nearby attractions include the renowned Chatsworth House, with its famous art collection and beautiful gardens, and Haddon Hall, England’s most well-preserved medieval house dating back to the 14th century. Carsington Water offers nature trails, a wildlife sanctuary, horse riding, water sports, cycling, and a restaurant. The surrounding villages feature excellent pubs, and popular destinations like Dovedale, Markeaton Park, and the market towns of Ashbourne and Bakewell are also worth a visit. Shops are 3.5 miles away, with a pub 1.25 miles and a restaurant 2.25 miles from the property.
