How lovely in these post covid days of opening a key safe, letting yourselves in a not meeting the owners all week to have such great hosts. They were helpful and informative, so much so, Jane text me (I thought she would) at 9.30 and we all stood in her garden watching the Northern Lights glowing in the skies above the cottage. A fabulous end to a brilliant week! Amazing walking, Dovedale, Thors cave, Carsington Water and Longshaw Estate, NTrust, Biddulph, Kedleston, Sudbury and Calke Abbey. A holiday to remember, absolutely brilliant! Thank you!

On arrival the cottage was found warm, clean, tidy and welcoming as expected. The owners next door were welcoming and always on hand with helpful tips on where best to go for meals out etc. The cottage is well situated for access to local towns as well as the southern Peak District. If going back to that area we would certainly staying there again.
