The cottage was comfortable, clean and tidy and met all our needs for a pleasant week stay. Many good walks with our dog from the doorstep. Off road parking was a bonus. Hope to revisit in the future.

I have only one critique it would have been great if there was a footstool to put your feet on whilst sitting on the huge chair as it was leather I kept sliding off lol and when I was reading in front of the wood burner it would have made it perfect.

Well situated in a small but lively village with a general store, cafés and other necessary facilities readily available. A great area for walking and visiting historic sites nearby. The cottage is comfortable, warm and well appointed with private parking available.
