Awayside Cottage is a pretty, stone built residence, internally very tastefully presented and externally boasting a mature garden edged with flora. While visiting enjoy a country lifestyle exploring the surrounding rural country lanes (perfect for a bicycle ride) and bridle paths then returning for well-deserved rest in the Pymore Inn (a short stroll away) or relax in your cottage garden. Historic Bridport lying just over a mile away has a varied selection of interesting shops and a weekly market, selling local farm produce. A further mile and a half away is West Bay, with its sand and shingle beaches and picturesque working harbour with fishing boats and sailing yachts coming and going. Venturing out for a day you may wish to explore The World Heritage Jurassic Coast, which has breathtaking views, while visiting picture postcard villages along the way, where you can see thatched cottages, ancient churches and sample cream teas from traditional Tea Shops.

We were very pleased with the cottage, which was attractive and nicely furnished. The bedrooms were small but this was not a problem for us at all. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the fact that the electrical items (washing machine, dishwasher, kettle etc) were good quality. The garden was fantastic. The neighbours were friendly. Pymore was convenient for getting around the area. In short, we enjoyed the property and the holiday.
