Orchard View is one of two charming barn conversions at Ivy Farm, beautifully restored, retaining original stone and wood finishes. Ivy Farm comprises 70 acres of wild flowers and grass meadows. These stunning grounds not only provide a beautiful backdrop for your holiday, but also attract a large range of wildlife and birds, with designated areas of `Outstanding Scientific and Natural Beauty'.

There are three separate Orchards surrounding the cottages, making an interesting play area for children. Each cottage has its own patio and there is a separate barbeque area, where you can picnic in the shade of the apple trees.

The cottages offer an outstanding and peaceful base for walkers to explore the miles of surrounding footpaths. A 10 minute walk on the Coastal Footpath leads to the Fleet Lagoon, one of the few natural lagoons left in the world.

The Fleet is an important area for wildlife and has received an SPA (Special Protection Area) under the EU Birds directive, an SAC (Special Area of Conservation) and an sssi (Site of Special Scientific Interest).

With low levels of ambient light pollution, Dorset is known to be a popular location for those wanting to get clear view of the night sky. Both Hazel Copse and Orchard View are situated in an ideal spot for this, with minimal light pollution in the surrounding area to obscure your view, it is perfect for observing the night sky.

Orchard View: Large open-plan living room with kitchen and dining area.  Bedroom 1, Kingsize double bed.  Bedroom 2, built in bunk beds - bottom standard size, top bunk narrower than standard at 2'6" - suitable for one adult or two children.  Bathroom, bath with rinse attachment, toilet and hand basin. The cottage overlooks two of the three orchards.

Additional services Oil fired central heating.  Fridge with ice box freezer compartment.  Flat screen TV and DVD.  Washing machine.  Feather quilts and pillows provided in each bedroom. Off road parking for one car at each cottage.  Very large shared garden areas, patio with table and chairs.  Shed with children's' toys such as racquets and balls.  Welcome tray on arrival with refreshments.
