Fairwinds is a family holiday home from home in a quiet location in the village of Northam within 5 - 10 minutes walking distance of local stores, inn and indoor leisure centre.  The Northam Burrows Country Park (and centre of the North Devon unesco Biosphere Reserve) is nearby, and the picturesque fishing village of Appledore is 5 minutes' drive down the road. A wander through Appledore's winding cobbled streets to emerge at the quayside is always a pleasure. Westward Ho! with its wide sandy surfing beach and sea-side shops and cafes is 10  minutes' drive away and Skern Lodge offers an exciting range of outdoor activities for all ages nearby. The port town of Bideford is easily accessible and has a good selection of shops and restaurants as well as ferry trips from the port in the summer. For those who wish to leave the car in the driveway there is also a regular bus service available close by. This detached bungalow is a spacious and welcoming and surrounded by attractive gardens. The two  bedrooms both have hand basins and one has an en-suite shower room. There is a spacious family bathroom and further cloakroom/WC.  A large, attractive L-shaped lounge has comfortable seating surrounding  a feature fireplace, a piano and delightful views over the gardens and countryside.  There is a lovely separate dining area with oak table and chairs and patio doors to the garden. A fully-fitted kitchen is well-equipped and the entrance hall has handy storage. Outside the rear fully enclosed garden is ideal for relaxing evening for all the family and has a patio, garden furniture, barbecue, solar lighting and a wooden summer house.

Kitchen with larder, cooker with 4 gas rings and double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine.  Bedroom 1 with 2'6" twin beds, basin, en-suite shower room with WC. Bedroom 2 with Double and basin. Bathroom with shower over bath. Cloakroom with basin and WC.
