Drewstone Farm Cottages

South Molton 3 miles. These two superb detached holiday homes are situated on the owners 300 acre, working livestock farm surrounded by countryside and close to the market town of South Molton in Devon. Both delightful cottages provide a convenient base for families and friends who wish to explore the wonderful Exmoor National Park and North Devon Coast.

Dewstone Arches is a traditional 16th century cottage, sleeping four people. This welcoming cottage is surrounded by farm meadows and overlooks a picturesque valley, making it a peaceful place to stay.

Woodcutters cottage sleeps four and has been beautifully converted to provide heart-warming

accommodation amidst the luscious countryside of Devon, near South Molton.

Outside, both cottages have their own enclosed lawned garden. Approximately half a mile from Drewstone Farm is the river, leading to North Molton. The farm itself was featured on the ITV programme 'Johnny Kingdom's Wild Exmoor' in2015.

There are plenty of lovely walks from the farm, including a wooded

trail down to a valley, and you will always have a smile on your face when you see the bleating lambs in the field. Also the area is one of the Dark Sky Reserves in the UK which makes this a superb stargazing location, so settle down into the evening and enjoy a hot drink, whilst you admire the wonderful night's sky.

Three miles away is the town of South Molton, which offers interesting shops, pubs and cafes, a supermarket and a swimming pool. In the area there are a number of farm shops and pretty villages, with three country pubs within four miles.

Close by is the stunning Exmoor National Park,where you can explore the beautiful landscape on foot or on horseback, plus there are a wealth of outdoor activities on offer, including cycling, fishing and birdwatching. The dramatic North Devon coastline is also within reach, with numerous beauty spots to explore, such as Lynmouth, Watersmeet, Clovelly, Dunster, Landacre Bridge and Tarr Steps, and the beaches at Croyde and Woolacombe provide the finest quality surf and sand.

South Molton, known as the gateway to Exmoor, is in North Devon, boasting a range of shops, amenities and a bi-weekly market. Walk the renowned South West Coast Path and the North Devon beaches are accessible. Popular spots within reach include Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.
