Originally, its occupants farmed all the land adjoining, but now it sits on a quiet residential road on a steep hill. At the front, a fairly large, enclosed walled garden with a partially hidden den and patio (table/chairs); at the back, an enclosed garden with large patio (table/chairs), steps down to lawn.
Hall with parquet floor; depth-of-house living/dining room with beam and inglenook fireplace (‘living flame’ gas fire), TV/DVD, and artefacts and furniture from the owners’ travels; smart kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric cooker/gas hob) with granite worktops and Chinese slate floor; utility area (sink, washing machine); door to back garden. Downstairs loo. Upstairs, three bedrooms – a double (6’ bed), a twin, and a room with two sets of 3' bunks; bathroom (suite) and shower-room (suite). No pets permitted during July and August. A lovely old family house.

"This is a very comfortable house, having a bathroom and a shower room was especially useful as we had a young child with us. The thatch made the house very quiet and cosy, we didn't hear that it was raining in the night."
