Stayed in L2 lodge and had no issues, it was clean well laid out and we'll positioned

ok, lets start with the 2 mile single track lane to get to the property...its just awful and I never got used to it, silence in the car so I could concentrate! Plus whatever you do, do not turn left out of the property as the lane just gets worse and worse. My advice use The Lamb pub as the satnav starting and endpoint for every journey.However, we really enjoyed our stay in our lodge. We were lucky enough to get lodge no.4 which gave us all the privacy and no passers by plus use of all the open space out the back of the lodge. The lodge was clean and well provisioned, 2 bathrooms is always good and the hot tub an absolute godsend after a day on the Devon roads (I'm still in shock at how many journeys I took which were on single track 'roads'!!)Had an issue with the washing machine that was looked at straight away. Everything we needed was there for us but just one small complaint that the bedding sheets and plasticky underlay weren't big enough for the bed and didn't stay in place while being slept on.

There is a lot of wood! Furniture and fittings in our lodge, number 1, were very tired and in need of updating.Whilst the lodge was not dirty it was extremely dusty everywhere, not sure when some parts had last been dusted. Windows could do with a good clean as they were filthy.Overall we were comfortable and warm and the hot tub was lovely, but we wouldn't return.
